I had a great time in West Virginia, where I recently attended the West Fork New Music Festival. Organized by composer and Fairmont State University Professor, Daniel Eichenbaum, West Fork New Music Festival featured performances by Great Noise Ensemble and Keith Jackson. My piece, Thirty-three Years, was selected to be performed by Great Noise Ensemble.

Read MoreI was quite surprised to learn that Elevate had chosen to program my solo cello piece, Media Luna, for their “Old Girls Club” concert, a concert that featured music all by women composers. Media Luna had been written nearly 13 years prior, and was a bit of a forgotten piece for me.
